Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you sign up for updates or contact us, why we hold it, and the rights you have over it.

Before publication. This notice must be completed and reviewed by the operator, and checked by a qualified adviser. The sections marked "to complete" require the real legal entity, contact routes, retention periods and the actual list of providers used. Do not publish it with placeholders in place.

1. Who is responsible for your data

To complete: the registered legal entity acting as data controller, its company number, registered address, a contact address for privacy enquiries, and the details of a data protection officer if one is appointed.

We do not ask for financial details, account numbers or documents relating to your claim, because we do not handle claims.

You choose each channel separately, and you can change your mind at any time.

We record who consented, when, how, the exact wording shown at the time and the channels selected. If that wording later changes, your record keeps the version you actually saw.

5. Who we share it with

To complete: name the actual providers used for hosting, email delivery, analytics and any customer or consent management system, and the role each plays. Do not publish a generic list.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass your details to claims management companies.

6. How long we keep it

To complete: state the retention period for marketing contact data, for consent evidence after withdrawal, and for enquiry correspondence, with the reasoning for each.

7. Where it is held

To complete: confirm whether personal data is transferred outside the UK and, if so, the safeguards relied on.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, whether or not you have complained to us.

To complete: insert the current ICO contact details, and the internal contact route for data protection complaints, confirmed against ICO guidance at the time of publication.

10. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we will update the version and review date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you.
